• Accessing the Parent Portal

    The PowerSchool Parent Portal provides parents/guardians direct access to their child's student information.  This includes grades, attendance, schedule, honor roll, historical grades, teacher comments, demographic information and test scores.  The Parent Portal allows you to participate more fully in your student's progress.

    A letter was mailed to you with an Access ID and Access Password which will enable you to create a new account If you do not have an existing account.

    If you previously created an account for your child, you can just log on to the Parent Portal using the username and password that you entered when you created the account. 

    For those who never created a Parent Portal account or if you want to add siblings to your existing account, follow the directions below.

     

    Use Your Existing Account to Add a Sibling

    If you already created a Parent Portal account with another sibling, log into the Parent Portal using your username and password.  Select Account Preferences on the left, and then click on the Students tab at the top.  Click on the Add+ button and enter the first and last name of your child and the Access ID and Access Password from the letter for the new student.  Click on Submit and the new child's name will appear on the top.  Click on the name to view their information.    

  • Navigating the Parent Portal

    On the left side of the main screen, you will see the Navigation Bar which will allow you to view a number of different screens with your child's information.
     
     Grade History displays grades for several school years.
    Attendance History shows you the student's daily attendance including absences and tardies for the current school year. 
      Email Notifications allows you to select what type of reports you want to have automatically e-mailed to you.
      Account Preferences allows you to make changes to your Parent Account.
    Demographic Info lets you view the current information contained in PowerSchool for your child.
    My Schedule allows you to see your child's schedule for the currrent school year.
      School Information displays the current school address and administration information for your child's school.
      Test Scores allows you to view your child's scores for the NJASK.
