Dr. Michael Fiorillo

  • Dr. Fiorillo comes to Manalapan-Englishtown Middle School after previously serving as the principal of Frank Antonides School in West Long Branch.  Prior to that he was an assistant principal at Shore Regional High School. Dr. Fiorillo has also served as a K-12 department chairperson in Neptune Township, where he supervised Social Studies, World Languages, Physical Education / Health, NJROTC, and Family / Consumer Science.    Before entering administration Dr. Fiorillo was a high school history teacher and wrestling coach in both the Neptune Township and Dumont School districts.  

    As principal, Dr. Fiorillo is committed to ensuring a school community that combines a rigorous academic program with a wide range of co-curricular experiences so that students can develop their full potential.  In order to achieve this, educating the whole child is emphasized. Dr. Fiorillo oversees the day-to-day operation of the building and ensures that our students are able to learn in a safe environment. 

    Dr. Fiorillo received his undergraduate degree in history at Montclair State University.  He earned his graduate degree at The College of New Jersey and his doctoral degree from St. Peter’s University.  He and his wife, also an educator, have two children and are life-long Monmouth County residents .
