Welcome to the Pupil Personnel Services Department! We are committed to partnering with families, educators, and community members to ensure every student receives a free appropriate public education (FAPE) in the least restrictive environment (LRE), fully aligned with N.J.A.C. 6A:14, IDEA, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
Our team provides coordinated, student-centered support across a range of services—including Special Education and Related Services, Section 504 Plans, School Counseling, direct and indirect behavioral support through our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), and instructional coaching via our Special Education Coach. The PPS department also includes the Homeless Education Coordinator (McKinney-Vento Liaison), Title IX Coordinator, and Anti-Bullying (HIB) Coordinator.
The IEP team includes members of the Child Study Team (School Psychologist, School Social Worker, and Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant) and related services providers (speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and counseling staff). Additional staff on the IEP team are based on the individual needs of students such as Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), Teacher of the Deaf, Orientation and Mobility Specialist, Teacher of the Visually Impaired among other specialized providers.

Per Board Policy 2460, requests concerning a child's referral, identification, evaluation, classification, and/or provision of a free appropriate public education can be made through the following methods:
- Completion and submission of the Special Education Parent Request Form
- Regular mail addressed to the Office of Pupil Personnel Services
- Hand delivery to the Office of Pupil Personnel Services
All requests must be in writing and include the parent's physical signature. The District will not accept requests submitted to any other District email address.
